A certified 501(c)(3), NACo is committed to surfacing underrepresented Native artwork and cultivating breakthroughs in mainstream art and society. With the help of your funds, NACo plans to advance the work and stories of Native American artists through various programs and initiatives.
Our Artists in Residence Program identifies promising and under-recognized Native contemporary artists, and supports them with the necessary resources to develop their work, like studio space, stipends and promotional guidance. With access to valuable resources, opportunities and channels, the artists’ work will land the spotlight it deserves in the art world. NACo will also develop and implement programs, workshops, speaker series and events for the general public to expose people to Native contemporary art and modern issues facing Native communities.
